Ci\u00f2 pu\u00f2 essere in gran parte attribuito ad un\u2019alterata funzionalit\u00e0 ruminale, influenzata a sua volta da uno sbilanciamento nei nutrienti apportati (carboidrati e proteine) nel supporto del metabolismo microbico ruminale. (Carlier, et al.; 2009)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Garantire la massima utilizzazione degli alimenti ingeriti, attraverso uno sviluppo appropriato dei batteri ruminali si traduce in un aumento dell\u2019assunzione e in un\u2019ottimizzazione nell\u2019uso dei nutrienti. Per fare ci\u00f2 con l\u2019uso di foraggi essiccati o insilati si dovrebbe prendere in considerazione l\u2019aggiunta di sostanze in grado di migliorare le fermentazioni ruminali. (Carlier, et al.; 2009)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Inoltre, un&#8217;altra caratteristica dei foraggi \u00e8 rappresentata dall\u2019enorme variabilit\u00e0 che si pu\u00f2 riscontrare tra i vari lotti o nelle diverse porzioni di insilato, traducibile in una scarsa costanza nell\u2019alimentazione del bestiame.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">LA SCIENZA DIETRO I MANGIMI LIQUIDI<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Tutti questi motivi ci hanno spinto negli anni a sviluppare mangimi liquidi sempre pi\u00f9 performanti, con lo scopo di riportare in stalla tutti i benefici naturali dell\u2019erba verde.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Vediamo assieme come sono in grado di portare queste peculiarit\u00e0 in stalla.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">I mangimi liquidi sono studiati per ottimizzare la razione:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Bilanciando il contenuto in zuccheri altamente disponibili<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">In termini energetici<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Conferendo una maggior costanza<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Apportando importanti quantit\u00e0 di acidi organici<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Migliorando l\u2019appetibilit\u00e0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">I mangimi liquidi Sugar Plus sono miscele di diversi zuccheri, addizionati con acidi organici ed eventualmente con glicerolo, proteina solubile e oligoelementi in funzione delle diverse necessit\u00e0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">L\u2019idea di creare <strong>miscele<\/strong>, piuttosto che lavorare con materia prima, \u00e8 quella di garantire una miglior interazione fra i vari ingredienti. In particolare, per quel che riguarda il contenuto in zuccheri, si \u00e8 notato che il saccarosio \u00e8 lo zucchero pi\u00f9 rappresentativo all\u2019interno dei melassi di canna e di bietola. Nel melasso di canna lo troviamo in percentuali che variano da 30 a 51%, mentre nel melasso di bietola \u00e8 presente in quantit\u00e0 variabili da 31 a 50.7%. Il glucosio e il fruttosio sono scarsamente presenti nel melasso di bietola (0.20%), mentre nel melasso di canna troviamo valori medi di 6.21% per il fruttosio e di 4.15%. per il glucosio. Valori di energia per i differenti acidi organici (Sahoo e Jena 2012).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">L\u2019acido citrico pu\u00f2 essere comparato al glucosio in termini energetici (Kirchgesser e Roth, 1998)., mentre l\u2019acido propionico ha un\u2019energia pari a 5 volte quella contenuta nel frumento (Diebold e Eidelsburger, 2006)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">L\u2019acido malico (principale acido organico presente nell\u2019erba medica) rappresenta un importante metabolita per la flora microbica ruminale in quanto migliora l\u2019utilizzo dell\u2019acido lattico da parte di Selenomonas ruminantium (Evans &amp; Martin, 1997) e di Megasphaera elsdenii (Rossi &amp; Piva, 1999); incrementa la produzione totale di AGV, specialmente se associato ad uno zucchero come il cellulobioso (Callaway et.\u00a0 al., 1997), diminuisce il rapporto acetato:propionato e di conseguenza riduce la metanogenesi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Malico, fumarico e aspartico in diversi studi han dimostrato di diminuire la metanogenesi sottraendo H<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0durante la loro conversione in propionico (Newbold &amp; Rode, 2006; Moss &amp; Newbold, 2002; J.L.Wallace, 2007). La rimozione di H<sub>2\u00a0<\/sub>stimola la proliferazione di batteri cellulosolitici e la digestione della fibra (Newbold, et al., 2005).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">A livello intestinale la loro dissociazione riduce il pH inibendo la crescita microbica; inoltre hanno effetti positivi sull\u2019idrolisi delle proteine (Mroz, et al., 2000) consentendo cos\u00ec un utilizzo pi\u00f9 efficiente dell\u2019azoto (Overland, et al., 2000; Kluge et al., 2004)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">Negli animali in crescita l\u2019aggiunta di acido formico migliora la digeribilit\u00e0 del grasso\u00a0(Partanen, 2001), incrementa la conversione alimentare (Eidelsburger, et al., 2000; Ettle et al., 2004), favorisce l\u2019ingestione di s.s. e riduce l\u2019incidenza di diarree (Freitag, et al., 1998)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">In diversi studi, una maggior supplementazione con acidi organici ha evidenziato una maggior ingestione di alimento (fino a 1 Kg\/capo\/gg in pi\u00f9, vedi tabella 7) che si \u00e8 tradotta in una maggior produzione di latte in termini di quantit\u00e0 e qualit\u00e0 (Gheller, et al., 2020; Wing, et al., 1988; Castillo, et al., 2004; Bampidis &amp; Robinson, 2006; Ali, et al., 2013), ottenuta grazie ad una maggior efficienza microbica ruminale che ha comportato una maggior produzione di proteina microbica e ha minimizzato la produzione di metano a livello ruminale. (Newbold, et al., 2005; Sniffen, et al., 2006; Khampa &amp; Wanapat, 2007). Nello studio di Ali et al.
